According to the Gaumul Election Officer's Office, the CPN-UML candidate has won for the post of chairman and vice-chairman of Gaumul village municipality of the district.
Election Officer Shanti Bahadur Basnet has informed that Hari Bahadur Rokaya has won the post of chairman and Sita Thapa (Rokaya) has won the post of vice-chairman. Rokaya won with 3,434 votes and Vice President Thapa (Rokaya) with 3,194 votes. His nearest rival Congress candidate Hirendra Bahadur Rokaya got 1,470 votes and vice-presidential candidate Uma Rokaya got 1,744 votes.
