KATHMANDU: Weather patterns in Nepal are currently being influenced by westerly winds.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division reports that the hilly regions of Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country is enjoying clear weather.
Fog has been observed in certain areas of the Tarai and the Valley.
The Himalayan, Tarai, and hilly areas are expected to remain mostly clear by the afternoon.
The Division has advised the public to take precautions as mist and fog are likely to affect some parts of the Tarai and Valley in the morning, potentially disrupting daily activities, tourism, mountaineering, transport, and aviation.
