What will be discussed in today's HoR meeting?

In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill 2079 is being submitted.

According to the parliament secretariat, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has a possible agenda to introduce the bill in the meeting of the House of Representatives at 1 pm.

In the meeting of the 10 ruling parties held on Saturday, it was decided to submit the bill to amend the Commission for Investigation and Truth and Reconciliation Act-2071 in the Parliament meeting on Sunday.

These bills related to the peace process were tabled in the previous parliament. But it was returned to the parliamentary committee saying that further discussion was necessary.

In today's meeting, Prime Minister himself will submit the First Amendment Bill 2079 related to the Constitutional Council.
