NC General Secretary Sharma ahead with 6,000 vote margin

Constituency no 1 of Jhapa district has counted 34,429 votes so far in the election for the member of the House of Representatives, in which, Nepali Congress candidate Bishwa Prakash Sharma is leading the count with 6,573 votes.

The NC General Secretary Sharma has the nearest contender Agni Kharel of CPN UML. Sharma has collected 17,298 votes while standing committee member of the UML, Kharel, got 10,716 votes.

This constituency saw 87,396 turnouts.
