NC’s Pandey leads in vote count in Bajura

Nepali Congress (NC) candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) election in Bajura Badri Prasad Pandey has led the vote count against his rival.

NC’s Pandey has secured 5,491 votes while Pandey’s nearest rival Karna Bahadur Thapa of CPN (UML) has got 4,129 votes in the counting.

A total of 60,152 votes were cast in the constituency.

Likewise, Naresh Shahi of CPN (Unified Socialist) has led the count for the Province Assembly election in constituency no. 1 (1), according to the District Election Officer, Bajura. Shahi has got 2,097 votes while his nearest rival Baldev Regmi of CPN (UML) has obtained 962 votes.

In Province Assembly constituency no. 1 (2), Padam Shahi of NC has secured 2,381 votes leaving behind UML’s Lal Bahadur Thapa, who has garnered 2,455 votes.
