RSP to decide the nominee for Chitwan re-election

The meeting of the parliamentary party and the central committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is being held today.

A leader informed that the current political situation and preparations for the by-election in Chitwan Region No. 2 will be discussed in the meeting held at the party's central office, Dhumbarahi, at 3 pm. This meeting will decide who will be nominated by the party in Chitwan Constituency No. 2.

Earlier, party president Rabi Lamichhane was elected from that area. But due to the citizenship dispute, the by-elections are about to be held after the court decided to suspend the MP from office.

The Election Commission has already decided to hold by-elections in Chitwan Region No. 2 on 23 April.
