Good start from Nepal who batting first

Nepal is competing against the home team Zimbabwe today in the opening match of the ICC One Day World Cup Qualifier.

Nepal, who lost the toss and was invited to bat first, is batting excellently at the Harare Sports Club ground in Zimbabwe. Nepal scored 154 runs without a wicket in 28 overs.

Openers Asif Shaikh and  Kushal Bhurtel are staying at the crease. Kushal scored 66 runs and Ashif scored 41 runs.

Today, Nepal is aiming to defeat the recognized home team Zimbabwe.

Today's match against Zimbabwe is also Nepal's first one-day international (ODI)-recognised match against a Test-recognised nation. Nepal has played only one 50 over match against Zimbabwe before.
