Star striker Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the Saudi Arabian football club Al-Nassr on a two-year deal. The club announced the signing on Friday. The 37-year-old will receive $75 million per year, making him th fte highest-paid footballer in history. Before this star striker starts his new journey, let us have a look at his club career so far.
Sporting CP (2002-03)
A teenage Cristiano Ronaldo started his senior-level club career with Sporting CP. He made his debut for the club in 2002 and scored three goals in 25 appearances.
Manchester United (2003-09)
Manchester United was the club that turned this youngster into the star that he is today. He had his first stint with the club till 2009. In 196 appearances for the club, he scored 84 goals. In 2007-08, he had a standout season with 31 goals in 34 appearances. He also won three Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League title.
Real Madrid (2009-18)
Moving out of Manchester United as the hottest footballer on the globe, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Real Madrid amid much fanfare in 2009. In 292 matches, he scored 311 goals for them. He won two La Liga (top Spanish league) and four UEFA Champions League with the club.
Juventus (2018-21)
After departing from Real Madrid, Ronaldo joined Juventus, a top Italian club. He scored 81 goals for the side in 98 appearances. With them, he won two Series A (Top Italian league) titles.
Manchester United (2021-22)
Ronaldo had his second and last stint with Manchester United in 2021. In that stint, he scored 19 goals in 40 matches. He could not win any major titles this time around with them.
