The Nepali national women's football team has reached Uzbekistan for the AFC Women's Asian Cup, 2022 qualifiers.
The team reached Tashkent, Uzbekistan via Istanbul, Turkey.
Swabs have been collected for the PCR test of the Nepali team in Tashkent. Until the test report is received, team will stay in isolation at the hotel.
In the qualifiers, Nepal is in Group F including the Philippines and Hong Kong. Nepal will play against the Philippines on September 20 and against Hong Kong on September 20. The group's match between the Philippines and Hong Kong will be played on September 25.
The top team of the group will play the Asian Cup in India next year.
