Nepal has made its presentation on the first day of the ongoing anti-doping program in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On behalf of Nepal, Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj has spoken in favor of making the anti-doping campaign meaningful. Speaking at the 17th Asia-Oceania Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sports, Minister Athak stressed on the importance of making Nepal's anti-doping campaign in sports meaningful, according to his secretariat.
The participating nations also appreciated Nepal's efforts in the program. The meeting, which is being held from March 14 to 15, is attended by 45 countries. The meeting has approved the strategy for 2022-24. Accordingly, emphasis has been laid on making anti-doping organizations more effective to make the game clean.
