Nepal wins Asian Central Zone Volleyball

Former winners Nepal won 'Asian Central Zone Volleyball Challenge Cup' title with an exciting victory over Uzbekistan. Nepal defeated Uzbekistan with 3-2 at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday. In a very competitive first set tie breaker, Nepal took the lead 26-24.

In the second set, Uzbekistan took the lead from the start. With Nepal trailing 19-23, the referee showed a red card to the coach of Uzbekistan for not following the referee's call. Due to which, Nepal also got service by adding points. After that, Nepal managed to take the game to 24-24 but after losing 24-26 in the second set tie breaker.

In the third set, Nepal easily won the match with 25-15 and took a 2-1 lead. After trailing 10-11, Nepal added 8 points in a row to take an 18-11 lead and easily won the game.

But in the fourth set, Uzbekistan came back and won the set 25-22 to make it 2-2. After that, Nepal won the title by winning the fifth and final set 15-11.
