The Nepalese women's volleyball team is participating in the Asian Games for the first time. The competition will be held in China next September. For this, the Nepali team is currently doing preparatory training. The Nepalese team has 12 players including captain Aruna Shahi.
Foreign coach John D. Brant is currently training Nepalese players. Nepal will play a warm-up match against India in Kathmandu before going to China to play the Asian Games. Nepal will play against South Korea and Vietnam in Group C of the Asian Games.
