Paris Saint-Germain beefed up their defense on Tuesday, hiring right-back Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.
PSG, which according to different journalistic versions is also preparing to sign Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, reported that 22-year-old Moroccan Hakimi signed an agreement for five seasons, until the end of June 2026.
Hakimi, born in the Spanish capital, emerged from the Real Madrid academy of inferiors and played for the white team. Later, he was loaned for two seasons to Borussia Dortmund.
In 2020, he joined Inter, where he added seven goals and 10 assists to help win the Serie A title.
He started his international career in 2016 and participated in the 2018 World Cup.
Last season, PSG finished second in the French league, behind champion Lille.
