Air service in Jumla suspended due to snowfall

Air service in Jumla has been suspended due to snowfall.

After continuous snowfall, the air services have been halted. Civil Aviation Authority Jumla Acting Chief Rajiv Shrestha said that the plane could not land due to snow.

Today the weather is clear in Jumla. However, Shrestha said that planes could not land due to snow on the runway.

Nepali Army, Armed Police, and Nepal Police have started the work of snow removal on the runway since morning.

Passengers coming to Jumla have been stranded in Nepalgunj for three days due to snowfall.
