Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of aviation fuel by Rs 5. With that air fares have also been increased. Airlines have increased air fares and according to the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal, the longest route from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi has increased by Rs 220.
With the increase in fares, it will now cost a maximum of Rs 17,025 to reach Dhangadhi from Kathmandu. The fare of mountain flight from Kathmandu has reached Rs 14,890.
At present, the price of aviation fuel has gone up from Rs 185 to Rs 190 per liter.
