Nepali female climber Dawa Yangjunm Sherpa has achieved success in Nanga Parbat. This mountain is locally known as Diamer. This mountain is the ninth-highest mountain on earth. Its height is 8,126 meters. She has climbed 8000 meters high peaks 10 times.
Dawa Yangjum was born in 1990 in Dolakha. He is an internationally recognized mountain guide. She climbed Yala Peak in 2009. In 2012, she was able to climb the world's highest peak Mount Everest.
She is the first Nepali woman to climb Makalu, the fifth highest peak in the world. In 2014, she managed to climb the world's second largest mountain, K2. She became the first woman to reach the summit of Manaslu in 2021.
