Himalayan Orange Tourism Festival-2020 is rescheduled to take place in Kolkata, India on December 10-12. Organised by the Association for Conservation and Tourism (ACT) every two years since 2014, the Festival that was scheduled was halted due to COVID-19, said the ACT President Raj Basu.
An inter-nation meeting in West Bengal on Wednesday took a decision. The meeting was attended by representatives from Nepal and India. The countries like Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan will participate. The main attraction of the festival will be organic oranges produced in the participating countries, it has been said.
Likewise, organic medicinal herbs, fruits, and handicrafts will be put on display, Basu said. Nepal is the co-organizer of the Festival.
