Ms Liu Xianling, Lakpa Sherpa, and Ningma Dorjee Tamang from Imagine Nepal's team reached the Everest summit at 9:30 am on 23rd May 2023.
According to Imagine Nepal Ms Liu's summit push was initially on 21st May, but due to the high wind, she had to turn back from the triangular face of Everest. On her second attempt from Camp IV, she had to turn back again on 22nd May from the same place due to tiredness. However, she did not give up the challenge and stayed three nights at camp-IV to make her dream come true. To support her, Imagine Nepal's founder and the group leader of the expedition, Mingma G, deployed two of ImagineNepal's best climbing guides, Lakpa and Ngima.
Lakpa and Ngima feat of summiting for the second time this season, having already reached the summit on 17th May.
