MasterChef UK finalist Santosh Shah received a grand welcome on his return home to Nepal on Thursday.
PATA Nepal Student Chapter members wearing chef coats as a sign of honour towards him and people from different organisations were present at the airport to welcome fan-favourite Shah.
Shah is a Nepali chef based in London. Best known as the runner-up in MasterChef UK 2020, Shah garnered the attention of people around the world for his culinary expertise, creativity and representation of Nepali food touched with western fusion in the show.
Shah participated in the MasterChef UK with an aim to showcase Nepali cuisine to the world. He was popular among the public and judges for his signature dishes. He eventually bagged the first runner-up trophy in the event. Despite not winning the show, Shah was able to win the hearts of people across the world.
