Senior tourism entrepreneur Sherpa at the fourth camp after success on Mt Everest

Senior tourism entrepreneur Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa, who reached the summit of Mount Everest on Wednesday, has returned to Camp 4. He reached the summit of Mount Everest at 7:34 am today. He lives in the fourth camp. The team at Everest base camp of Thamserku Expeditions Pvt Ltd, the organizer of the mountain climbing, informed that he is scheduled to descend to Camp 2 early on Thursday morning.

Other climbers who went with him have also reached the fourth camp.

Robert Moracchini from France has also successfully climbed Mount Everest with him.Others team members are Jangbu Sherpa,Pem Tengi Sherpa and Pemba Sherpa.

 With this success on Mount Everest, Lhakpa Shonam Sherpa has completed the successful ascent of the highest mountains of the seven continents of the world. He became the first Nepalese Climber who completed all 'real' seven summits including the summit of Mount Carstensz.

He has previously climbed Mount Vinson (4892 m) in Antarctica, Mount Puncak/Mt Carstensz in Oceania (4884 m), Mount Elbrus (5642 m) in Europe, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 m) in Africa, Denali (6190 m) in North America and Akonwagua (6962 m) in South America.

  Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa started climbing the mountain in 1987 by climbing the Thamserku Mountain. After his team climbed that mountain, no other climbers have climbed it. The trekking company founded by him under the name of Thamserku Himal has so far helped thousands of local and foreign climbers successfully climb various mountains including Mount Everest. 63 years Sherpa went at the second camp of Everest 30 years ago in 1993 and helped the Nepalese women's climbing team.

He is the husband of late Pasanglhamu Sherpa, the first Nepalese woman climber to climb Mount Everest.
