Budget Session

Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung prorogued the budget session to be effective from Wednesday midnight.

As summoned by President Ram Chandra Paudel according to Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, the meeting of the Federal Parliament is taking place at 4:00 this afternoon.

Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday while the Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on the last day of the Budget Session

The meeting of Provincial Assembly Province No. 1 is scheduled to be held today

Speaker Sapkota also said that problems were faced to proceed ahead with the discussions on the bills registered in the Parliament Secretariat

UML participated in the budget session without any protest.

The meeting has been called at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, at 4 pm on Tuesday.

The Financial Bill, 2078 introduced by the government of Province 1 to implement its economic proposals has been endorsed today.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called for all political parties to move ahead with consensus and collaboration developing a shared understanding of national agenda.
