Dilli Chaudhary has been unanimously elected the Nepali Congress' parliamentary party in the Lumbini Province Assembly.

Counting of votes under the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections held on November 20 is in last stages.

The political parties were given time till noon today to withdraw the names if they want from the closed list they submitted.

Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the country requires structural reforms for economic development.

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said the fully proportional electoral system is necessary to get an end to unhealthy competition and malpractices in the election.
