Due to road maintenance work, the garbage management work of Kathmandu Valley will be affected for the next week.

"The road is muddy and has ditches, causing risk of accidents," a local said.

The vehicular operation has been permitted on the Abukhaireni-Muglin road section along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun at night as well

The Mechi Highway, which has been blocked by landslides for the past four months, has been reopened.
