The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has lost 23.52 points to close at 1,893.70 points on Thursday.
Similarly, the sensitive index fell 4.17 points to close at 372.37 points.
A total of 3,114,689 units of shares of 226 companies were traded for Rs 1.119 billion.
All sub-indices closed red today.
Meanwhile, Mandakini Hydropower Limited was the top gainer today with its prices surging by 3.92 percent.
Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited was the top looser as it fell by 6.91 percent.
