Around 6,000 students of Bhaktapur have been vaccinated against corona. Students studying in different schools of Bhaktapur in the age group of 12 to 17 have been vaccinated under the vaccination campaign.
Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, the District Health Office has set up a vaccination center in the school in coordination with the local level. According to Health Office Chief Krishna Bahadur Mijar, the vaccination campaign has been completed in schools within Changunarayan and Suryabinayak municipalities of the district till Tuesday. Similarly, a vaccination campaign has been started in schools of Madhyapurthimi and Bhaktapur municipalities from Tuesday, said Mijar.
A vaccination campaign is being conducted to reduce the growing risk of corona infection. "Even if the school is closed, the local level and the school will coordinate and vaccinate," he said.
The Bhaktapur Municipality has made an arrangement that the vaccination campaign will be conducted from 9 am to 3 am and the students will have to bring the school identity card for vaccination. Bhaktapur has designated vaccination centers in various schools and colleges for the vaccination campaign.
