The Election Commission has stated that all the printed ballot papers for the local level election to be held on May 13 will be completed today.
Spokesperson of the Election Commission Shalikram Sharma Poudel informed that the printing of all the required ballot papers has been completed and the ballot papers have been transported to all the districts till date.
According to the commission, the election symbol on the green ballot paper is black. The election symbol of the national party is placed at the top of the ballot paper. Then there are election symbols of active political parties and independent candidates in the district.
Voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm on May 13 to elect the people's representatives of 753 municipalities across the country.
The commission has instructed all the polling staff to go to the place immediately and fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them.
The Chief Electoral Officer and the Returning Officers are also required to take action in accordance with the prevailing law if the polling officer, assistant polling officer, assistant staff and counting staff do not reshuffle their staff except in cases of urgent humanitarian and sensitive reasons. The commission has given instructions.
