Kathmandu Metropolitan City has written a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs and requested for cooperation and coordination in removing the unauthorized structures in Thapathali of Bagmati river section. In the letter signed by Chief Administrative Officer Basant Adhikari, it is mentioned that the unauthorized structure will be removed and the work of beautification will be carried out immediately.
Attempts have been made several times to remove unauthorized structures in Thapathali. So far, the removal of the structure has not been successful.
