The Ministry of Home Affairs has suspended Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Thug Bahadur KC of Butwal Rupandehi, who was involved in the bribery case.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs Fanindramani Pokharel informed that the Ministry has suspended KC based on the recommendation made by the Nepal Police. Earlier, he was arrested on Sunday night by a team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police on the charge of demanding bribe from a gold businessman.
Initially, the bureau arrested Butbal's Khilendra Singh Ji from a resort with a check of Rs 950,000 and 34 tolas of 21 lal yellow metal in his bag.
During the investigation conducted on him, after it was revealed that local businessman Kisan Wik and DSP KC had a mutual relationship in the incident, the police went to his residence and arrested him. CIB Superintendent of Police Kamal Thapa informed that Rs.
