Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah (Balen) has said that the metropolis is not playing the game of losing anyone. He said this while mentioning the sufferings faced by the metropolis during garbage collection, transportation and final management.
It was not easy to take away the garbage either. The road was blocked under the leadership of the local leaders of the ruling parties. It was seen that the local leaders of the opposition parties UML and RPP also supported it.
On Monday, giving information about the garbage transportation and final management at the sanitary landfill side, Chief Shah says, "More than 200 policemen were mobilized and the garbage trucks were taken away. An attempt was made to create a barrier by hiding from some groups. Because of this, only 203 garbage trucks could be taken to Banchare Danda on Monday.”
