KP Sharma Oli, the chairman of the CPN-UML, has accused the present administration of oppressing national industrialists.
He voiced his opposition to Meen Bahadur Gurung, the proprietor of Bhat Bhateni Super Market, being arrested while speaking at the program of UML's Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Department.
Oli questioned whether anyone who purchased land from the government office would face legal action. He charged Gurung with failing to recognize how running Bhatbhateni Supermarket had transformed him into a businessman. There is no chance of businessman Gurung fleeing, he claimed.
The government merely detained national capitalists to put them through hardship, Chairman Oli made that remark.
