Nepal Traffic Police started a special checking from 7:30 am to 08:30 am, to see to it that people are driving safely.
During the checking on Wednesday morning, people were found driving under the influence of alcohol. 234 drivers were taken into action.
Drivers from 93 water carrying vehicles, 5 ambulances, 1 delivery vehicle and 135 other vehicles were punished. Due to this reason, the special checking will be more strict from now on.
