The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has started vaccinating people traveling to other districts for Tihar. The vaccines are being administered at Koteshor, Gongabu, Balkhu, and Kalanki Chowk. Individuals can take their identity cards and get vaccinated in these places.
Vero Cell and AstraZeneca vaccine would be administered to passengers. The vaccine would be provided today and tomorrow from 7 am to 4 pm.
The campaign has kicked off early morning today. People who haven’t been vaccinated will be given the 1st dose, while people who have already been vaccinated with the 1st dose can get the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccination campaign can be extended if needed as informed by Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada.
