Nepali Congress has discussed election strategy and preparations with industrialists of Biratnagar.
Nagesh Koirala, the chief candidate of Biratnagar Metropolitan City from the Nepali Congress, said that the discussion focused on the election situation and economic and industrial development of Biratnagar. He sought suggestions on how to reduce the tax rate and widen the scope.
Stating that he was clear about raising taxes and reducing taxes, he said, "I do not commit corruption. Don't let others do it either. ”
Koirala said that road construction, provision of clean drinking water and long-term sanitation of Biratnagar were his priority programs. The industrialists and businessmen had their own views on the problems caused by the tax hike in the country's economy.
