Siddhartha Highway has been blocked due to a landslide. The Pokhara-Syangja section of the highway has been blocked since 3:30 am.
According to Rajendra Prasad Adhikari, Police Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Syangja, the road was blocked due to a landslide in Bhalupahad, Fedikhola Gaonpalika-2 of Syangja.
Putlibazar Municipality and Road Department are cooperating to remove the landslide. Hundreds of vehicles are left stranded on the highway.
The spokesperson suggested not to travel through the road as it is going to take some time to open the road.
