Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has expressed sadness and shock over the unexpected and untimely death of Constituent Assembly Chairperson Subas Chandra Nembang.
In a condolence message here today, VP Yadav said that Nembang's contribution in promulgation of constitution of Nepal would be always remembered.
Yadav asserted that late Nembang would be reminisced as a personality who efficiently led the Constituent Assembly with the dual role as its Chairperson as well as its parliamentarian and someone who would prod the political parties that there were no alternative to consensus, cooperation and unity.
CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Nembang who was elected member of the House of Representatives from Ilam constituency no 2 passed away today due to cardiac arrest. He was 71.
Stating that Nembang had established himself as a leader and was advocate of a balanced role, consensus and was knowledgeable in laws and constitution, the VP in the condolence message said that the country lost a gentleman, decent, soft-spoken and friendly leader with the demise of Nembang.
Expressing his heartfelt tributes to CPN (UML) parliamentary party's deputy leader late Nembang, VP Yadav prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended deep condolences to the bereaved family.
