CPN (UML)'s Juli Kumari Mahato has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives of Dhanusha No. 3.
She was elected by getting 9,669 more votes than Anil Jha of Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP) Nepal.
UML leader Mahato has got 33,355 votes while LOSPA leader Jha has got 23,686 votes.
Mahato has won direct election for the first time. She became a proportional member of parliament twice and also became a minister.
