Senior leader of Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel has won as a member of the House of Representatives of Tanahun-1 with a huge margin of votes. Poudel won by 5,388 votes over Ek Bahadur Rana of UML.
Out of the total 68,175 votes cast, Paudel got 25,313 votes while UML's Rana got 19,925 votes. This is the sixth victory of senior leader Poudel.
