Gaurika Singh, a swimmer from Nepal, set a new national record. She achieved a new national record in swimming's 100-backstroke (LC) category at the current World Aquatics Championship in Fukuoka.
She broke her own previous record, which she had established at the 01:07:31 in the 12th SAG India 2016, with a pace of 01:06:80.
