Everest Day celebrated today

Everest Day is celebrated today. On May 29, 1953, on this day, the late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and the late Edmund Hillary first set foot on the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. On this occasion, a rally was organized in Kathmandu this morning. The rally, which included various mountaineers as well as businessmen related to mountain climbing, turned into a meeting at the tourism board. Thousands of mountaineers have achieved success on Mount Everest so far. Many have also died on Everest.
