Soaltee Hotel Limited's financial support to KIOCH

Soaltee Hotel Limited has provided a financial support of 2.5 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health. The sum is donated to the institute towards construction of KIOCH-Kathmandu Children's Hospital at Budhanilkantha Muncipality, Ward No. 7, Kathmandu by the Hotel as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The sum was handed over by the Executive Chariman of Soaltee Hotel Limited Dinesh Bahadur Bista to the Chairperson of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health Dr Bhagawan Koirala amidst a function at the hotel on 25 April 2022.

Executive Chairman Bista expressed happiness in being able to provide partial support for construction of Children Hospital and collaborate with KIOCH as part of its regular CSR activities. He expressed his belief that this support will add to the institution of providing accessible, available and affordable quality health care to all the children of the country also learning from the adverse situation caused by the current pandemic.

Chairman of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health informed that institute strives to establish a multispecialty Children's Hospital at Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu and satellite children's hospitals in all other provinces. He informed that the construction of Children's hospital in Kathmandu has started after finalizing the designs and drawings whereas the service from KIOCH-Damak Children's Hospital at Jhapa, Damak will begin in near future as the first hospital of KIOCH in operation. Dr Koirala bestowed his sincere thanks to the hotel for its support which will contribute towards the health care of the future generation.
