Harishchandra Malla, a resident of Lalitpur, has been arrested by the police for being involved in online gambling through Tiktok.
He used to gamble by asking people to deposit money in his eSewa and other digital wallets with the aim of betting the money live on Tiktok.
Malla opened Tiktok IDs called 'Quick Cash' and asked different people to deposit money in two e-service wallets, and in a period of 15 days, an amount equal to 8 lakh 53 thousand 331 was transacted through Tiktok live gambling.
