Ex-queen, crown princess discharged from hospital

Former queen Komal Shah who had been receiving treatment for COVID-19 has been discharged from hospital.

Shah along with her daughter and former crown princess Prerana Shah was discharged after making a full recovery from COVID-19, from Norvic  International Hospital, at around 4:00 pm today.

Former royal family members — Gyanendra Shah, Komal Shah and Prerana Shah — were admitted to Norvic International Hospital after they suffered from health complications after contracting coronavirus infection, on April 24.

Previously, former King Gyanendra Shah was discharged from hospital on Wednesday evening after making a full recovery from COVID-19.

The former queen had been undergoing treatment through Plasma Therapy method with oxygen support at the intensive care unit, according to Somnath Bastola, Chief Corporate Communication and Public Relation Manager at the hospital.

Bastola informed that although the health condition of the former crown princess was stable and had already recovered, she had stayed in the hospital to accompany her mother.
