A media center has been brought into operation at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers (OPMCM) at Singha Durbar.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma on Tuesday inaugurated the center by announcing the decision of the Cabinet meeting from the Media Center itself. The center has been established to facilitate and organize news gatherings for media persons while announcing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting and the announcements of the Government.
On the occasion, Spokesperson Sharma also held a dialogue with media persons from the studio next to the meeting room in the media center. Arrangements have been made for dialogue with media persons and journalists from the studio in the prime minister's office while visuals will be available to the media persons immediately.
A similar media center has already been brought into operation at the Prime Minister's Official residence, Baluwatar, for the convenience of the media persons.
