Traffic police have arrested a man on the charge of stealing a motorcycle. A police team from the Metropolitan traffic police division arrested Srijar Senchuri of Sindhupalchowk from Sankhu in Sankharapur municipality-6.
Senchuri was arrested along with the stolen motorcycle that he was riding after changing its registration number. The motorcycle with its original number Ba.91Pa.1221 was changed to Ba.95.Pa.7963. It had been lost last December from the Bhatbhateni department store in Koteswar, according to Senior Superintendent of Police Janak Bhattarai.
The motorcycle is owned by Sujit Maharjan of Lalitpur. Based on a complaint filed by Maharajn, police managed to find the motorcycle and the person involved in stealing it.
