PM Oli inaugurates Assembly Hall in Godavari

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday inaugurated a grand Assembly Hall at Godavari of Lalitpur. Prime Minister Oli inaugurated the hall virtually. The assembly hall has the capacity of holding 3,000 people.

On the occasion, PM Oli said that the newly-inaugurated hall is the biggest one of its kind in the country and is an important ladder in the pace of development. He also urged all to move ahead thinking positively as the country is seriously impacted by Covid-19 pandemic. The hall is named as Godavari Sunrise. PM Oli said rising sun is the symbol of the beginning of development therefore it was named Godavari Sunrise.

Secretary at the Ministry of Urban Development Dr Ramesh Prasad Singh shared that the modern and sophisticated hall will help organize mega events. The assembly hall is constructed in 43 ropani of land plot at the total cost of Rs 810 million.
