The driver's license testing device for real or fake has been handed over to the Nepal Police by the office of the Transport Management Department. To reduce the proliferation of fake licenses and various types of accidents caused by it, the department handed over the smart license testing equipment to the Nepal Police today during a program.

On behalf of the department, Director General, Tokraj Pandey handed over 198 smart card reader devices to the Additional Inspector General of Police Divesh Lohani, a representative of the Central Office of Nepal Police. According to Tokaraj Pandey, Director General of the Transport Management Department, the 'smart license' testing device can be used to check whether the driver's license is the driver's own or not. In addition, there is also a provision for fingerprint testing in the device.

So far, the department has distributed 29 lakh 50 thousand smart cards (licenses). Pandey said that the device that can test all these licenses has been distributed to the Nepal Police to make it available in all seven provinces.

During the regular check of the traffic police, the statistics of carrying fake licenses and showing the license of friends has increased. With this tool, you can easily find out who the license belongs to immediately. It will also help in reducing accidents.
