On the occasion of Mahashivaratri and Army day, Nepal Army is observing the auspicious day with various programs and festivities. Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari was also present at the inauguration of today's celebrations.
Nepal army day has been observed on the day of Maha Shivaratri since 1991 at Tundikhel, Kathmandu.
On this day, the Nepal Army organizes various programs that include traditional Nepali customs, dances, and arts.
