KATHMANDU: The detention of medical practitioner Durga Prasai, who was arrested on charges of social media misuse, has been extended by 4 more days.
The Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday granted permission to the police to detain him for another 4 days and conduct investigations.
The CIB arrested him after he made controversial material public about Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's investments in Cambodia. He was arrested on November 20 on charges of cybercrime. He is also being investigated for money laundering and other matters.
