339,000 voters in Parsa

A total of 339,836 voters have reached Parsa district for the upcoming local elections. According to the Election Commission, a total of 191,537 men, 148,283 women, and 16 others have reached that number in 14 local levels of the district.

Out of 280,212 voters in the last local level election, 59,624 voters have increased this time. The highest number of voters is 124,647 in Birgunj Metropolitan City. Compared to the last local level election, there are 15,846 more voters now. The lowest number of voters is in Dhovini village municipality. There are only 12,236 voters.

Similarly, Bahudarmai municipality has 24,313 voters, Parsagadhi municipality has 22,807 voters and Pokhariya municipality has 19,664 voters. The highest number of 19,763 in Sakhuwaparsauni, 15,664 in Chhipaharmai, 18,061 in Jagarnathpur, 12,314 in Pakahmainpur, 14,804 in Bindwasini, 12,975 in Kalikamai and 13,929 in Thori. And there are 13,920 voters in Paterwasugauli municipality. The commission has stated that 167 polling stations and 404 polling booths have been set up in the district for the local-level election.
