The Nepali Congress has set up a 'province desk' at the party's central office to make the party's victory campaign in the upcoming local elections systematic and effective.
The Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba have set up a 'province desk' as per the decision of the meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Local Level Election formed under the convenership of Deputy President Punar Bahadur Khadka. General Secretary Bishwaprakash Sharma, on behalf of the central office, has appointed seven joint general secretaries of the party as coordinators of the provincial desks, said Congress chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
Accordingly, Joint General Minister Jeevan Pariyar in Province No. 1, Joint General Minister of Madhesh Pradesh Bhishmaraj Andamwe, Joint General Minister Farmullah Mansur of Bagmati Pradesh, Joint General Minister Mahalakshmi Upadhyay 'Dina' in Gandaki Pradesh, Mahendra Yadav, Joint General Minister in Lumbini, Badri Pandey, Joint General Minister in Karnali And Kishore Singh Rathore, Joint General Minister in the Far Western States have been appointed coordinators.
